What is Acupressure?
Acupressure is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a therapy that has existed for over 5,000 years. Acu means point. Acupressure therefore uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body’s natural self-healing abilities. Acupressure is based on the idea that energy or life force called Qi or Chi flows through the body & is fundamental to a person’s health. The Qi (energy) runs through the body via Meridians, channels or pathways which are found throughout the body that connect the Acupressure points to each other as well as to internal organs. The goal of Acupressure is to stimulate & unblock the energy, the circulation of Qi by activating specific acupressure points. Stimulating these points triggers the release of endorphins, which are neurochemicals that relieve pain. Also pressing these points releases muscular tension enabling the body to relax deeply & increase the circulation of blood, oxygen & Qi (energy) throughout the whole body. Acupressure also helps the lymphatic system (moving fluids & getting rid of waste out of the body) & stimulates the functioning of the hormonal glands. Benefits of Acupressure:

What is Cranial Sacral Therapy?
Cranial Sacral therapy was pioneered & developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger (USA) from 1975. The craniosacral system is one of the three fundamental life-giving systems, along with the cardiovascular & respiratory system, in the body. This is a gentle hands-on method of evaluating & enhancing the functioning of the physiological body system – craniosacral. This therapy focuses on the skull, brain, spine, membranes, cerebrospinal fluid & spinal cord. Using a soft touch practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By subtly working on the joints of the skull & movement of the spine, attuning to & regulating the deep energy that flows through the body, deep changes may take place in the body. The treatment is deeply relaxing. Craniosacral Therapy can benefit people who have limited mobility & who are have acute & chronic pain. Benefits of Cranial Sacral Therapy:
